Hot off the (digital) presses: it’s the second issue of the INCITE-DEM newsletter!
The newsletter will serve as a central hub for everything related to the INCITE-DEM project. Over the next two years, six issues will be published, detailing the challenges and successes of INCITE-DEM, as well as sharing information on democratic innovations and the efforts of our sister projects.
Only a few months from the publication of our first e-newsletter and so many political changes took place around the world. Yes, we have a new Commission that promised to put “Citizens in the heart of Europe” – we are eager to know what the new policies are to make intentions a good reality.
Thus, the need to reimagine our democracies remains more urgent than ever: to accommodate democratic innovations that can shape more effective citizen participation to contribute for efficient solutions to tackle the dire environmental, economic and social challenges we face.
