Evaluation of Democratic Innovation
An assessment of the democratic innovations, developed through democracy labs, through advanced analysis, choice experiments and interactive fora to establish how different participation and engagement processes can complement each other.
Taking stock of the results of the analysis of pre-existing quantitative data and case study research and early results of the DLabs, this task will employ advanced methodologies such as network analysis and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to identify perceived opportunities, barriers, enablers and requirements for inclusive participation and engagement and multilevel and transparent feedback mechanisms between citizens, democratic innovators, policymakers and bureaucrats. It codifies cases and provotypes against the backdrop of their contexts. The results will also inform policy synthesis in preparation for the policy roadmaps.
